Atlas Stationers (Chicago Loop)
A true Chicago stationery institution, Atlas Stationers was established in 1939 and is still family-owned, likely serving as Chicago’s oldest, continuously-operating stationery store. Walking into Bari Zaki Studio feels like stepping into a paper lover’s dream. Part store and part workshop, nearly everything at Papírna is handmade. From gorgeous notebooks (we love the ones with the visible bindings), custom stamps, stationery organization, and even junk journal packs, everything you pick up is sure to be both beautiful and functional. The owners also offer custom branding, upcycling, and product collaborations, and were extraordinarily kind when we visited!
